A new technique

As you can see, Jose Silva always believed that we had a responsibility. Originally he believed that our responsibility was to do the work ourselves, and only when we were stuck and could not make any more progress, then we were entitled to ask for help from High Intelligence.

Later he realized that it made more sense to seek guidance in the beginning. We do not need to do it all alone. High Intelligence stands ready to guide us, and to help us when we need help.

It is still our responsibility to take action in the physical dimension - that is why we have physical senses and a physical body.

The key to success, Mr. Silva believed, was to have the correct attitude.

What is the correct attitude?

To find out why we were sent here, what it is that we are supposed to do, and how to go about doing it.

"You have an 'invisible means of support,'" he told us, referring to High Intelligence in the spiritual dimension - on the "other side."

That is why he modified his approach. Now, rather than making all the decisions yourself, and trying to do everything on your own, and only seeking help when you are unable to make any more progress, he suggests another way:

First, make sure that your attitude is to do what's best for all concerned; that at least two or more people will benefit from whatever you do; that your efforts improve conditions on the planet; and that you do unto others only what you would have others do unto you.

Then report in to your "tutor," your helper on the other side, and watch for indications of guidance and help from higher intelligence.

Whenever you need to use the MentalVideo Technique, proceed in the following manner:

At beta, with your eyes open, mentally create, with visualization, a MentalVideo of a problem, or the existing situation. Include everything that belongs to the animate matter kingdom. Animate matter means everything that contains life.

After you have completed the MentalVideo of the problem, use visualization to review it at the beta (outer conscious) brain wave level, with your eyes closed.

Later, when you are in bed and ready to go to sleep, go to your center (the Alpha brain wave level) with the 3 to 1 method (which is taught in Jose Silva's UltraMind ESP System, in both the live training and the home study course). Once you are at your center, review the MentalVideo that you created of the problem, or the existing situation, when you were at beta.

After you have reviewed the problem, mentally convert the problem into a project. Then create, with imagination, a MentalVideo of the solution.

The MentalVideo of the solution should contain a step-by-step procedure of how you desire the project to be resolved.

After both of the MentalVideos have been completed, go to sleep with the intention of delivering the MentalVideos to your tutor (your helper in the spiritual dimension) while you sleep. Take for granted that the delivery will be made.

During the next three days, look for indications that point to the solution. Every time you think of the project, think of the solution that you created in the MentalVideo, in a past tense sense.
